    Seminar of Military Christian Union of Russia in Vladikavkaz. A one-day seminar of the Union of military Christians of Russia (UMCR) brought together 40 persons in Vladikavkaz in the office of the Mission "Christian charity". People who attended it represented churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists in Alania (North Osetia) and Kabardino-Balkarian Republics. More >>>

    Ministry for deaf in North Osetia. During April deaf brothers and sisters, members of the church "Hope", had wonderful opportunities to meet twice a week and had fellowship with each other, besides worship services with other church members on Wednesday and Sunday. The meetings were held in the church round the table, as a rule, like all other festivities, because such meetings are always special days for dear people, because new people come. More >>>

    To render a help to neighbor is a kind of worship not everyone can be able to carry out. The next step is to bring the light of truth and the goal of determination of peoples` living on Earth. But first the hungry must be given food. And a piece of bread being held out, it is necessary to remember that "the man shall not live on bread alone". Therefore concerning for the salvation of the neighbor`s soul must provide concerning for his bodily needs for crying so loudly now and then, they muffle the groaning of the soul. More >>>

    In January 2003 the North Osetian Mission of Christian charity formed a new charity project "Bread of life", which will daily supply refugees, large and poor families with bread during a year. There are 50 needy elderly women and 23 needy families, who receive free daily bread from the Mission. Every morning bread is brought to the houses where it is perhaps the most normal source of food.     The North-Osetian Mission of Christian charity had the next charity action for the needy people. This time it happened in the church where blind people were invited. Over 800 persons are registered in the North Osetian Republican society of blind people. They do need special support. The Mission prepared a 7-kilo food boxes for each of 260 invited people.     One of the military union, which is located in the North Osetia in the village of Chermen is open for the representatives of the North-Osetian Mission of Christian charity and the Military Christian Union of Russia. On the 4th of March there was held a meeting with the servicemen and they received over 50 Christian books, sent by the Mission "Light in the East" in Germany. More >>>

    There were unusually many people in Vladikavkaz church "Hope" on the 28th of February 2003. It was unusual, because no services are held there on Friday. The passers by wondered what was happening there? The most curious ones were able to find out that the North Osetian Mission of Christian charity was meeting its friends - the people who live in poor families, both in material and spiritual sense.      Presently it is very hard to find a job according to a profession. And especially hard it is for deaf people. The North Osetian Mission of Christian charity working with deaf people constantly faces this problem. More >>>

    "BREAD OF LIFE". The beginning of this year was unfavorable for the North Ossetian Mission of Christian Compassion (NOMCC). Some of our friends had to limit sponsoring some NOMCC projects after the financial crisis in Europe had set on. But the Lord supplies all needs of His children and allows them to continue worshipping despite many hardships. Moreover, new opportunities come to render a help the needy people. More >>>

    Recently a group of deaf people in a Christian church "Hope" celebrated its 6th anniversary. Some results of the ministry were discussed. It appeared that during the mentioned period of time approximately 150 deaf people and people with poor hearing abilities heard about the Lord Jesus Christ and His saving news at least once. But, regretfully, only 16 persons were baptised. More >>>

    On the 12th of November 2002 the North Osetian Mission of Christian Charity held an unusual meeting in the House of officers in Vladikavkaz town. On the request of one of the divisions of the 58th army dislocated in the North Caucasus, Rev. Piotr Lunichkin, Pastor of the ECB church "Hope" in Vladikavkaz and Nikolay Kobzev, a representative of the Military Christian Union organised a meeting for the deputy commanders on educational work on the theme "How is it possible to combine army service and Christian convictions".     A vocal group of the ECB church "Hope" from Vladikavkaz town and brothers from the Kabardino-Balkaria churches and the "Hope" church in Vladikavkaz visited the women's colony. That was our next visit to the zone in Kabardino-Balkaria. The children's choir "Path" has been here already. They brought clothes from the North-Osetian Mission of Christian charity from Vladikavkaz. More >>>

    At Christmas festivities young people of Vladikavkaz church "Hope" together with the staff of the North Osetian Mission of Christian charity visited the orphanage for the handicapped children "Kindness". The guests arrived with presents, lovingly prepared by German Christians and brought to the North Caucasus through the Missionary Union "Light in the East". More >>>

    The night of the 24th of December 2002 was a special one event of last year - the Christmas eve. In the capital city of Republic of North Osetia - Alania - Vladikavkaz the expectations of miracles by the children from needy and large families, including representatives of the town Society of blind people were implemented in a bright, and memorable festivity. The North Osetian Mission of Christian charity was the initiator of the event. More >>>

    The North Osetian Mission of Christian charity (NOMCC) on the request of the Republican Ministry of social protection visited the tourist centres "Kakhtisar", "Rostselmash", "Dzinaga", and "KamiArt" on the 4th of September where 650 children from Chechen Republic were on vacations. More >>>

    On July 1 - 15, 2002 in the tourist centre "Kakhtisar" in North Osetia it was noisy and gaily: there was held a Christian children's camp, organised and held by the North Osetian Mission of Christian charity, with the active participation of young Christians of "Hope" church. 31 children out of 50 people in the centre had no idea about the Person of Christ, or had some vague impression or distorted knowledge. Those were orphans from Chechnya, whom one can call the children of war. More >>>
